Your Free Private Lesson
45 minutes. One Coach. Zero pressure.
Truly free — no card on file, no obligation. Your first time on the mat gets a Coach's full attention, one-on-one, at whichever Academy is yours.
Step 1 — Who's this lesson for?
Step 2 — Choose your Academy
Step 3 — Pick your time
The booking calendar didn't load.
Call or text and a real human — usually a Coach — will book you in under a minute.
Booking takes about thirty seconds. You'll get a confirmation by text and email — and if the time stops working, the reschedule link is right in the confirmation. Life happens; the mat isn't going anywhere.
Join the waitlist and your Coach will reach out the moment booking opens.
Rather talk to a person first? Call or text either number above. A real human — usually a Coach — answers.
"I should get in shape first."
We hear it every week — and here's the truth: the mat is where you get in shape, not the price of admission. Nobody at the Academy expects you to be good. We expect you to be present. That's the whole entry fee — showing up.
Every black belt you'll ever meet was once the newest person in the room, out of breath and unsure. They stayed. That's the only difference.
What your first lesson actually looks like
You won't be sparring. You won't be thrown, tested, or put on display. It's forty-five minutes, one-on-one with your Coach, learning real technique built around your body, your pace, your goals — and nothing happens without your say-so.
Never trained a day in your life? Perfect. Carrying an old injury? Tell your Coach — the lesson bends around your body, not the other way around. Nervous? That's normal, and it's welcome here.
When it's over, your Coach will show you what the next step looks like — if you want one. If you don't, the door stays open. Either way, you'll know whether this is your place.
"I was very intimidated to start as a beginner but everyone has been so kind and welcoming... It's like joining a family."

What to bring
- Comfortable workout clothes you can move in — a t-shirt and athletic shorts or leggings work fine, because your first lesson is about movement, not gear.
- A water bottle.
- Nothing else. We provide everything else you'll need.
What parents want to know first
Your kid gets a Coach who works with their age group every single day — patient with the shy ones, steady with the wild ones. Classes are split by age, so a 5-year-old is never on the mat with a 12-year-old.
Your child's first lesson is one-on-one with their Coach: simple movements, clear instructions, lots of wins. No sparring. Nervous kids are normal here — most kids walk in quiet and walk out asking when they can come back.
You stay matside the whole time. Watch everything.
Dress them in comfortable clothes they can move in — we provide the rest.
"Her confidence has grown, her discipline has improved, and she can't wait to get to class each week."
— Travis Pruitt, Google review
